Iran claims top spot at International Mathematics Competition

Iran's national mathematics olympiad team secured first place at the Fourth International Mathematics Competition (IMSC 2026), earning the highest overall ranking after an outstanding performance against competitors from 49 countries.

Hawzah News Agency- The Iranian delegation captured four gold medals and two silver medals, finishing ahead of Poland and Brazil to claim the championship title.

Together, the students earned four gold medals and two silver medals, placing Iran ahead of Poland, which finished second, and Brazil, which claimed third place.

The International Mathematics Competition brought together participants from 49 countries, providing a platform for some of the world's most accomplished young mathematicians to compete in advanced mathematical problem-solving.
